ART IN MOTION II The University of Southern California School of Fine Arts
second annual international festival of time-based media,
presented in collaboration with the Santa Monica Museum of Art.
February 15, 16, 17, 2001 ENTRY DEADLINE: January 1, 2001

AIM II is a three-day, international festival that will bring together the most innovative projects currently being generated by the dynamic field of time-based media. Departing from traditional categorizations of film festivals, galleries and media venues, who organize around a specific media or genre, AIM's only criteria for submission is that works be 'time-based'. Consequently, AIM encompasses diverse projects created in film, video, digital video and animation, as well as sound pieces, digital media such as CD-ROMs and websites, and visual art projects such as installations and performances.

We are currently broadcasting our worldwide call for entries and setting up an announcement-only e-mail list that will send out occasional bulletins about the festival and related USC School of Fine Arts events. Messages will be mailed at an average of 1 or 2 a month, and I am writing to invite you to become a member of this low volume list.

To find out more about AIM II, and to print out an entry form, please visit our website at: http://www.usc.edu/aim, or contact us at aim@usc.edu. I very much hope that you will consider taking part in this innovative festival and I look forward to welcoming you to the AIM list.
