Call for theatre artists and groups to participate in Catskills Festival of New Theatre this summer.

2nd Annual International Festival of Brave New Theatre
from Canada, Europe, and the Americas.
NaCl Theatre (North American Cultural Laboratory), a New York theatre company led by Brad Krumholz and Tannis Kowalchuk, will once again produce The Catskill Festival of New Theatre, July 27 to August 5, 2001, at NaCl Catskills, the companyıs summer theatre in Highland Lake, NY, located 2.5 hours from NYC. The ten-day festival will feature nine performances by young, ground-breaking theatre creators from across Canada, Europe, and the Americas.
Built into the framework of The Catskill Festival of New Theatre is ³The Internal Exchange²- a three day seminar that will include work exchanges between the guest companies, and an academic forum focusing on contemporary performance. The festival will also offer public workshops, new play readings, childrenıs programs, cabarets, and outdoor stilt-walking performances.
