Two positions available at Creative Capital, Deadline March 1, 2001
A) Part time Administrative
Assistant
Assistant to Executive & Development Directors: Provides direct administrative
support to the Executive Director and Development Director.
Executive Director Related
duties
Maintain ED's calendar: schedule appointments, meetings, travel; Maintain ED's
files, rolodex, correspondence; Board Related; Mailings/e-mails/phone calls
to/from Board members.; Meetings: Correspondence from ED. Assist with board-related
travel.; Maintain mailing list and labels. Forward incoming mail.; Development
Related duties; Process correspondence, mailings, keep proposal/report calendars,
files, directories up to date, plan small-scale events: deal with caterers,
handle invitations and RSVPs for events.
Requirements:
*Responsible, friendly, outgoing, with outstanding telephone and communications
skills. Must be highly organized, self-motivated multi-tasker.
*Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Filemaker Pro a plus.
*Working artists with appropriate experience welcome to apply
*Background and experience in the field of visual, media or performing arts
a plus.
Part-time position = 16
hrs per week @ $15 per hr. + benefits
B) Part time Administrative
& Outreach Assistant
The Administrative & Outreach Assistant will work under the supervision of the
Outreach Coordinator and will help identify and implement all organizational
outreach efforts as well as carry out daily administrative duties.
Outreach Duties include: Data entry and mailings; Research on-line and by phone to identify important contacts including potential applicants and organizations in the field such as arts funders and presenters.
Administrative duties include: Management of office supplies, light equipment maintenance, data entry, sorting and handling of all in-coming and out-going office mail; Assist processing of grant applications when needed.
Requirements: *Working knowledge of Filemaker Pro and Microsoft Word.; *Experience in the fields of visual, media or performing arts helpful.; *Working artists with appropriate experience welcome to apply.; *Applicant must be friendly, detail oriented, work well in team situation, self- motivated, organized.
Part-time position = 20 hrs. per week @ $12per hr. + benefits
