High school students are invited to submit writing to 'September 11: Students Write."

Play by Play and Play by Play Online-- Theatre Development Fund's theatre journal written by and for NYC high school students-- would like to announce a writing opportunity for students. "September 11: Students Write" is a web page for students to write about the September 11 attack on the World Trade Center and its aftermath. Play by Play will publish students monologues, scenes, plays, poems, stories, journal entries, texts for solo performance, and spoken word performance texts. Alice Eve Cohen, Editor in Chief of Play by Play, says "Students' lives have been irrevocably altered by the tragic events of September 11 and its aftermath. 'September 11: Students Write' will be a place for students to give voice to their feelings, fears and hopes; a place to read the writing of their peers and to build community. Entirely non-competitive, all appropriate submissions will be published. Writing should be sent (by email only) to playbyplay@tdf.org
