Nancy Alfaro presents her solo performance piece, Sex & the Single Mother, at Dixon Place on November 17th and 18th at 8:00 P.M. at Vineyard 26 @ Dixon Place. All performances will take place at Dixon Place, 309 East 26th St. (1st and 2nd Aves.) in New York City.

Sex & the Single Mother was conceived, written and will be performed by veteran downtown performer Nancy Alfaro. Sex is the story of a woman stuck in a small apartment in a big city, who is looking for love in some seriously wrong places. She wonders, is her only escape the fire escape, or is it the fireman? The film noir-style video was created by Tony Stinkmetal, and the music is by vintage film score composer extraordinaire Max Steiner, with a little 50's merengue thrown in. Direction is by Patricia Decker, with lighting design by Mabou Mines' Julie Archer.
