On July 26, 2002, approximately four dozen artists, writers, and musicians posted
online personal ads, confronting the commercialization of personal relationships,
exploring the idea of online identities, and maybe trying to pick someone up.
We picked Nerve.com http://personals.nerve.com
because of their overt focus on a hipper, artier clientele (not coincidentally
a much-coveted marketing demographic).
