Collision Theory is an award-winning ensemble theater company that creates and
produces innovative, adventurous physical theater using the company's own highly
developed choreographic style. Collision Theory fuses the real, the unreal,
and the hyper-real, using documentary material, especially in person interviews,
as the "spark" for making rebellious, image saturated theater. In
this spirit, each Collision Theory production takes on a large, multidimensional
topic - for example, the corporate world, or the sex industry, or the American
medical bureaucracy - pulling it apart and then putting it back together again
using the company's distinctive and thought-provoking approach to its subject
matter. Collision Theory is currently developing The Dead of Night, which addresses
murder in the American imagination.
