The National Association of Artists’ Organizations (NAAO) announces its 12th National Conference -- OPEN SOURCE: Networking Artists and Artists’ Organizations to be held June 22 - 25, 2000 in DUMBO Brooklyn, NY.
OPEN SOURCE embodies the spirit of NAAO and its 300+ national members and celebrates the open process that facilitates artistic vision, empowers talent, creates audiences and articulates cultural value. Beginning Thursday night and ending Sunday, OPEN SOURCE will look at how the economies of information are effecting the art world, current forms of art activism, "Do It Yourself" art strategies, new technologies, tipping points and more.
