Artists throughout Asia are becoming increasingly aware of the power of performance as a means of social critique and universal rapport with global audiences. This Japan Society festival curated by award-winning Japanese performance artist Seiji Shimoda, features artists from six Asian countries in two nights of diverse and dynamic programs.

The performances will be preceded by "Live Transmission: Attention and Drawing As Time-Based Performance With Soba Master Kuniaki Kashiwagi from Nagano, Japan" with American performance artist Morgan O'Hara from 7:00 p.m., free to ticket holders.
