Jeff Weiss wins the Chesley Memorial Prize

On Thursday, March 30th, Jeff Weiss will receive The Robert Chesley Memorial Prize for Lifetime Achievement in Gay and Lesbian Playwriting.

The event is free and will be held at 7 PM at The New School for Social Research, 66 West 12th Street.

Jeff and his life partner, carlos ricardo martinez, have been putting on plays in New York City since 1963. He has received five Obie awards and has acted in some of the most respected productions on the New York Stage. Now, carlos has Parkinson's Disease and Jeff is facing a lot of life changes. This is a chance for us to show Jeff our appreciation for his life's work.
