Koan-Jeff Baysa is an independent curator, writer, practising physician and a 1998-99 Curatorial Studies Fellow in the Whitney Independent Study Program. His writing appears in exhibition catalogues, webcast interviews, and medical science publications. His most recent curatorial project, "Oxygen" at White Box in Chelsea, tangentially about post-9/11 air quality and its present and future implications, was well-received. A US liaison for the Pusan Biennial 2002, he has curated exhibitions in the Los Angeles
Biennial 2001, and the London Bienale 2000.

Raul Zamudio is an art historian, critic, and independent curator and was a 1998-99 Critical Studies Fellow in the Whitney Independent Study Program. His essays have appeared in The Encyclopedia of Sculpture (2002), The St. James Guide to Hispanic Art (2002) as well as in museum and gallery exhibition catalogs. Other writings have been published in Flash Art, Tema Celeste, TRANS, Zingmagazine, Art Nexus, NYARTS, Estilo, PART and The Journal of the West. His recent curatorial projects have been Loompanics, White Box, NY, NY (2001), Rayuela/Hopscotch, Kean University, Elizabeth, NJ (2001), and Lost in Space, Gary Tatintsian Gallery, NY, NY (2001-2002). Forthcoming publications include catalog essays for (The World May Be) FANTASTIC, 2002 Biennale of Sydney, Sydney, Australia (May-July 2002), and Axis Mexico: Common Objects and Cosmopolitan Actions, San Diego Museum of Art, San Diego, California (September 2002). His next exhibition project is Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice, co-curated with Irene Nikolai Fine Art at Irene Nikolai Fine Art,
